Structural Steel, Feature Steel and Componentry

In 2016 Coasteel Engineering commenced works on the ‘Kon-Tiki Towers’ at Maroochydore, Queensland. It was a 12 month project for Coasteel Engineering that would later become the Sunshine Coast’s commercial landmark building. The Towers subsequently won the 2017 BDAQ (Building Designer’s Association of Queensland) Building of the Year Award.

Coasteel Engineering was the all-inclusive steel fabricator for this project, providing 3D computer modelling and detailing, internal and external structural steel supply, fabrication, steel surface treatment, painting and installation, inclusive of all handrails, bollards, feature steel and awnings.
